an unexpected travel.. i've been to quezon province just last wednesday..
and the mountain hiking rush suddenly felt once again..
such a difficult muddy terrain though..and the rain made it more challenging..
the land trip itself was a first time..
passing through the sierra madre..
the towns of rizal, laguna and quezon..
seeing the greens..
the mountain slopes..
the lakes and rivers..
the extreme zigzag roads..
and shall i mention the "lomi" experience..
throwing back the "were" days..
a cheap snack..
but it has kept us until the very late lunch..
and the lunch..of course..
"bulalo" and "hipon ribosado"..
got to come back there for another bite..
going back to the thrilling climb..
raining still at jump-off point..
got to borrow a raincoat..
up..up..up..
follow the trail..
got to hold on to the sturdy branches..
prevent slipping down..
be careful with some rocky parts..
up..up..up..
breath..sip some water..
still can't believe i'm here..
are we there yet..
up..up..up..
and there..
the tower legs..
summit at last..
is this the rain or sweat..
maybe both..
got to keep moving..
the bugs really annoyed me at the peak..
and thanks..no "limatik"..
got the job done..
and time to go down..
they got me a trekking stick for support..
thanks again..
muddy descend indeed..
this hiking shoes just failed me..
got to wear my fave one next time..

enjoyed slipping down..
felt my knees getting weak..
need to train again i guess..
got to go back to my physical exercises..

rain has stopped at last..
and were back at last..
whew..i survived..
