-- Sec. 4(c)(4), which criminalizes libel, not only on the internet, but also on "any other similar means which may be devised in the future;"

-- Sec. 5(a)(b), which identifies other offenses punishable under the law, such as: (a) Aiding or Abetting in the Commission of Cybercrime; and (b) Attempt in the Commission of Cybercrime;

-- Sec. 6, which raises by one degree higher the penalties provided for by the Revised Penal Code for all crimes committed through and with the use of information and communications;

-- Sec. 7, which provides that, apart from prosecution under the law, any person charged for the alleged offense covered will not be spared from violations of the Revised Penal Code and other special laws;

-- Sec. 12, which authorizes the real-time collection of traffic data;

-- Sec. 17, which authorizes service providers and law enforcement agencies to "completely destroy the computer data subject of a preservation and examination" order;

-- Sec. 19, which authorizes the DOJ to block access to computer data when such data "is prima facie found to be in violation of the provisions of this Act;" and

-- Sec. 20, which states that those who fail to comply with provisions of Chapter IV (Enforcement and Implementation), specifically orders from law enforcement agencies, shall face imprisonment of prision correctional (6 months and 1 day to 6 years) in its maximum period or a fine of P100,000 or both, for each noncompliance."

as a netizen blogger, i got curious with these stuffs..i am not a lawmaker..but i am not a moron..some of the provisions specifically criminalizes  libel in the internet..i can get into prison if somebody interpreted my thoughts as offensive to them..and that $!_!()^*$#@!

yes we are given the freedom that we are now enjoying in the cyberwold..but now..maybe at this second..someone's traffic data is collected because of Setion12..someone can be prosecuted because he has exposed some anomalous issues attacking a powerful person in the society.."law enforcement agencies" are now deleting vital data in somebody's site because they are charged on practicing cybercrime..

yes we are given the freedom that we are enjoying in the cyberworld..and netizens should be responsible on what message and information he is uploading..yes i believe in that saying "think before you click"..but i guess now..even you have reviewed it ten times, clicking the publish button will not that be easy..beware netizens..

i'm not a biologist..but upon seeing this, it felt like i discovered a new specie of mushroom and hurriedly grab my digicam to capture the moment.. would you believe that these magnificent white fungi sprouted from rotting cat manure.? yes.. i have been a morning rusher..
since my wife and i lived together at KNL..
hehehe..listening to this two dj can really start your morning..
with a big smile..
and adding up to the crazy duo is chino..

chico..the hilarious guy..
he has this talent to take talking in the radio to another level..
his whacky zhongs..
the multicrackacters..jackie tiyanak and callcenter guy are my favorites..
the top ten is never complete without his green attachments..
he tell those stories the way it would really tickle your mind..
and tickle your bones of course..
and i also love it when his mother is on-air..

delamar..the mixture of wit, beauty, crypticism and "del-level" jokes..
the perfect complement for chico indeed..
her bittersweet innocence and view on sexuality..
the emo episodes..
her natural beauty radiates to your ears..

she is funny in her own way..i guess..harhar..
and that make her even funnier sometimes..

i still remember when delamar have to take a break..
and chino have to take her place..
i kind of mellowed listening to RX..
but mea culpa..
i never thought the show could be more outrageous with him..
chino is the perfect breaker of the “he says she says” theme..
his views introduces the younger generation's..
bullied and always getting bitchy..
he’s the mr. braggart rich chubby guy as the duo packaged him..

every day I’m looking forward the top 10..
though the top ten has became more than ten..
forget the technicalities and get on with the innovative entries..

The Flowers of War

The Flowers of War

my wife got me a dvd of this movie last week because she said maybe I could be interested in the movie since I’ve been to nanjing last february..so the long holy week holiday made a perfect time to watch some movies..

i thought this is just another movie that will make me sleepy..perfect for the night..but I was wrong..

I can say this is quite a disturbing movie..but in a good sense..the film really is a blast..i just caught myself emotional..stapled..the level of sentiment heightens as the movie goes..

I quote wikipedia:

“The Flowers of War, previously titled Nanjing Heroes and 13 Flowers of Nanjing, is a 2011 Chinese historical drama war film directed by Zhang Yimou, starring Christian Bale, Ni Ni, Zhang Xinyi, Tong Dawei, Atsuro Watabe, Shigeo Kobayashi and Cao Kefan. It is set in 1937, Nanjing, China, during the "Rape of Nanjing", at the time of the Second Sino-Japanese War. A group of escapees, finding sanctuary in a church compound, try to survive the plight and persecution brought on by the violent invasion of the city. The film is based on the novel 13 Flowers of Nanjing, by Geling Yan.”

the movie really depicted the rape of nanjing..figuratively..and literally..i just can’t help but hate the japanese that time..and it reminded me of “Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos” (no god in three years) film in the philippines..which also showed the merciless japanese era in the philippines back then..

moving back to the movie..the characters..my favorites would be george and the mighty soldier..their heroic spirit is overwhelming..

they say heroes are born in war..but you don’t have to be a soldier to be one..you should see how george protected the girls and made an unselfishly sacrifice in the ending..

and the mighty soldier..he’s not just an ordinary soldier..a sharp shooting sniper with a superb strategy..though he died early in the move but he has done a marvelous endeavor to save the girls from harm..he died with an explosion..and killed the sadistic japanese troop by himself..yes..alone..

what is very droll in the movie is the chance of having a mortician in the event..so the prostitutes had the chance to disguise as the high school girls..

the ending of the movie is a big “fill in the blanks”..what do you think happened to the prostitutes?? to george?? to the girls?? you are tasked to think of your ending, i guess..raped??escaped??died??lived??

great movie..commendable indeed..i’ll give it a perfect five stars!!

nanjing chronicles part 5

nanjing (Feb 8, 2012)

i really am missing waking up with my my wife and my baby at my side..a cold morning again..do the routine..

i happen to forgot looking at my cellphone again..my boss texted me..he's looking for some files..which i have a copy here in my laptop..so i made some emails first in the morning..

breakfast..buffet..yipee..another hearty breakfast..my chopstick skills is improving..in fairness..tasted an authentic almond jelly..they actually used the carageenan and almond fruit i thinks..and it's not that sweet..i actually thought it's the soup of the day..but it happens to be the dessert..

0830H...down to the lobby..out the hotel..and the water outside had already turned to ice..yes its winter..but no sign of snow yet..according to jinjin..it seldom snowed this winter in nanjing..i like to see some snow but i'm afraid of the cool winds..

mr yeng arrived about 0900H..picked us up..drive..not knowingly that kevin is going to the hotel, too..we just saw kevin walking down the road but we did not bother telling mr weng because he does not know english..the driver that we will be going to the training center again but the schedule for the day is the plant tour..not driving that far..he drove us back to the nari office near the hotel to meet with kevin..

kevin brought us to the exhibition room of nari electric..picture picture..ngcp should have a room like this..showed us the office environment..such a beautiful landscape..and maybe way even better during the spring time..i just imagined the greens and the flowers..great place to work indeed..

then go to the other nari location..where we trained the las two days..tour on its manufacturing plant..brings some memories during my maxim days..like semicon assembly lines..you have to wear laboratory gowns and wrap your shoes with plastic..no cameras allowed..kevin has been to the philippines many times so he's more accustomed on filipino's way of life..he even knew some filipino terms..a sales person he is..so he really should be good in talking..


lunchtime..full again..according to kevin..the company only charges employees 1 RMB for each meal..they are very lucky indeed..imagine, a buffet meal..eat all you can..for 7 pesos..what a great benefit..

this is the moment..we're going to the mall..it's auchan mall..a little stroll and then we headed to the supermarket..it's like the sm hypermarkey because almost all items are there..appliances..gadgets..clothes..food..etc..i picked three kinds of tea..and a yoghurt..it's a big store..maybe i'll buy more stuff if we'll be back there..

we're still looking for souvenirs and "pasalubongs"..but maybe they'll bring us to the store tomorrow..save the money for now..we also had the chnace to go the post office due to misunderstanding..he thought we're looking for postcards..harhar..

kevin inivted us for some coffee..had some hazelnut cappucino..it's probably the hottest place we've been..the heater maybe is in the maximum..i nearly sweat..thanks for the coffee..and for the durian rolls of course..

sigh..back to the hotel..i had a nap..

1700H..gen ru picked us up and we just walked to the nearby nari office for dinner..i had a banana overload for today i guess..i still even had two pieces beside my laptop..one from lunch because kevin insist to give us another..now from dinner because one of the meal served is also banana-based..


sigh..back to the hotel..just walked..it's getting colder again..got to get ready for tomorrow..weather forecasted a negative-degree day again..and we'll be practically out tomorrow..

cyberworld again..checked email..read some news..and here i am writing..sir junvil is already in th rem stage..snoring..maybe i should also sleep early today..i need energy for tomorrow..tour day..

gonna go to bed after toothbrush..good night!
